How Can Faith Communities Respond to the Impact of Trauma on Returning Veterans and their Families?
Transforming the Wounds of War (TWOW) educates religious leaders as they seek to support the emotional and spiritual wounds of returning veterans, their families and communities. TWOW is a program of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) at Eastern Mennonite University, which provides renowned trauma programs and resources for religious and community leaders.

Clergy Who Attend Will Receive:
- Information about the physical, emotional and spiritual issues many of today’s veterans and their families face;
- Education about trauma, and a trauma-healing model useful in breaking cycles of violence and building resilience;
- Resources faith communities can use to reach out to vets and their families;
- Opportunity to share resources and plan for next steps with others in your community.
